Use the Remote Control-Panel

Click the Information tab.

Click the Remote Control-Panel link.

Click the Launch Remote Control-Panel button on the Remote Control-Panel page.

If the product's control panel is active, a Requesting access progress indicator displays in the Embedded web server. A control panel is active in either of the following situations:
A user is present at the control panel. To permit Remote Control Panel access, the user at the product control panel clicks the Allow button on the Control Panel Access Request Prompt dialog that displays on the control panel.
The product's inactivity timer has not timed out. To permit Remote Control Panel access, the product's inactivity timer must time out.
NOTE:

A user at the control panel can prevent a Remote control panel session from starting by clicking the Deny button on the Control Panel Access Request Prompt or by not taking any action for sixty seconds. The Embedded web server user attempting to start the Remote control panel session is notified in the Embedded web server by the message The request for a remote session was denied by the user at the product.

When a Remote control panel session starts, green brackets display at the corners of the product's control panel. The control panel can be used simultaneously by the Remote control panel session user and a user at the product's control panel. Each user will see the other's actions on the control panel. However, the following actions require confirmation by the other user:
Entry of passwords when sign in is required by a product feature.
NOTE:

Passwords are hidden from the other user during sign in.

Returning to the Home screen

To restart the product, click the Restart button in the Embedded web server Remote Control-Panel main window. On the Restart Confirmation dialog, click the Restart Product button.
NOTE:

If the product is assigned an IP address dynamically the new IP address must be obtained to access the product's Embedded web server.

Click the End Session button in the Embedded web server Remote Control-Panel main window to end a Remote control panel session.

NOTE:

Remote control panel sessions have a non-configurable, inactivity timeout setting of five minutes. This inactivity timeout setting is separate from the control-panel's inactivity setting. When a session has been inactive for four minutes a Timeout Warning dialog displays in the Embedded web server. Click the Extend Session button to extend the session.
