PREREQUISITES

HP MIK Client (SP81145) is required to install on client platforms for MIK BIOS Configuration, TPM conversion, Sure Start, and Device Guard features.

HP WorkWise (SP78456) is required to install on client platforms for HP MIK WorkWise feature.

Fingerprint Drivers (sp79016 and sp78895) are required for HP Client Security - Intel Authenticate features.


DESCRIPTION:

This package provides the HP Manageability Integration Kit plug-in for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager in supported model running a supported operating system.

VERSION 1.0.52.1

  • Provides the HP Manageability Integration Kit plug-in for Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 SP1 with CU and higher (1511, 1602, 1606, and 1702).
  • Picked up CIK v3.0.10.1 for Win 10 OS Version support.
  • Fixed Digital Signature issues
  • Fixed BIOS Configuration UI not display appropriated and not function correctly on Non-US OS.

CURRENT KNOWN LIMITATIONS


1. Password modification is currently not available; The Setup Password setting in BIOS Configuration feature is not working in MIK 1.0 version.
Password modification will be implemented in MIK 1.1 version.
2. The Synaptics VFS7552 WBF Touch Fingerprint Sensor Driver (SP79016) cannot perform a silent install when upgrading from an older version of the driver. A prompt always appears that informs the user that they will be upgrading from a previous version of the fingerprint sensor driver.
3. HP Device Access Manager and HP Client Security cannot be used if using Device Guard.

  2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to extract the contents of the SoftPaq.
