Saving Files
You can save scanned images to a local disk in various file formats using the Save dialog. This dialog will pop up after the scanning is done, in case the Edit after scanning option is turned off. It is also available by Save button in Scan Assistant - Image Editor window.
The following saving options are available.
- File name – allows specifying the file name to be saved.
- Save file format – allows selecting the proper format for saving the file.
- Quality – this option is available only when the file format is set to JPEG, JPEG2000, PDF or PDF/A.
- OCR Language (for Windows only) – allows choosing a language for the optical character recognition option. This field is available only if you selected a text file format in the Save file format field.
- Save to – allows specifying the folder for the file to be saved. You can select a folder for this field by pressing Browse button at the right side.
- You can also provide the document properties information such as Author, Keyword, Subject and Comment.
- Save current selected file group – allows saving the currently selected file group in the list of files in Scan Assistant - Image Editor window.
- Save all file groups – allows saving all file groups in the list of files in Scan Assistant - Image Editor window.
Note: Save current selected file group and Save all file groups options are available only when Save dialog is invoked from Scan Assistant - Image Editor window.
